Richard Cheu is a former neurophysiologist, EMT and EMT instructor, and stress-management consultant. He is an ordained Catholic deacon and chaplain in the Archdiocese of New York. He provides pastoral counseling in New York City to patients at Bellevue Hospital, the flagship of New York City’s Health and Hospitals public healthcare system. He has also counseled patients at the Visiting Nurse Service inpatient hospice and Mary Manning Walsh Home. Richard is an advisor to Health and Hospitals, on patient and employee safety. He is also a lecturer and consultant on Mind and Body Wellness.
