Eric Ouellet is a Full Professor in the Department of Defence Studies with the Royal Military College of Canada, and the Canadian Forces College. He has a Ph.D. in sociology from York University. He is a full member of Parapsychological Association and he is its Liaison Officer for Canada. He has published a number of articles on topics related to parapsychology and UFOs in popular magazines and academic journals, and in 2015 has published a book entitled Illuminations: the UFO experience as Parapsychological Event, with Anomalist Books. He is continuing his research, focusing on the symbolic dimension of the UFO experience.
