He is a black belt instructor in Korean Tang Soo Do. Paralyzed from the waist down for three days from a bite from a Black Widow spider the day after he turned four years old! David won a world wide contest for Fender Musical Instruments in 1994 for a bass guitar solo he submitted to a contest held by Fender Frontline Magazine for their Summer Workshop '94. He had recorded the winning piece, Genesis 1;2, a four minute bass guitar solo seven years earlier as an audition tape. Blake Foster taught David how to do the 540 degree kick in the Arizona desert between takes on the set of Drifter TKD . Fans remember Blake Foster as the Blue Power Ranger.
