Jason Offutt grew up on a farm near the town of Orrick, Missouri. In his life, he’s been a farm hand, journalist, photographer, bartender and the mayor of a small town. He’s also a Dungeons and Dragons playing, “Star Trek”watching, conspiracy theory believing nerd.
Jason’s books include the upcoming book on cryptozoology, “Chasing American Monsters: Creatures, Cryptids, and Hairy Beasts,”the novels, “Bad Day for theApocalypse,” its sequel “Bad Day for a Road Trip,” a parody survival guide, four books on the paranormal, and others Jason also writes a weekly syndicated humor column.
He lives with his family in Northwest Missouri where he teaches college journalism and keeps humanity safe from the inevitable invading Martian space army.
