Uk: У ніч старого Львова прокинувся шепіт.
En: In the night of old Lviv, a whisper awakened.

Uk: Оксана, юная рудоволоса дівчина, її друг Богдан, статний зі зв'язаною в хвіст косою, та Юлія, приваблива дівчина із карими очима, вирішили переловити суть людської душі.
En: Oksana, a young red-haired girl, her friend Bohdan, a sturdy guy with a tied back braid, and Yulia, an attractive girl with brown eyes, decided to capture the essence of the human soul.

Uk: Проте не лише між ними трьома. Стороння особа втрутився у їх просту, й у той же час заплутану годину.
En: But not just between the three of them. A stranger intervened in their simple yet tangled hour.

Uk: Алек, іноземець, тільки що приїхав з Франції, та відразу вразився мовою.
En: Alec, a foreigner who had just arrived from France, was immediately enchanted by the language.

Uk: Ця мова, на його думку, була мелодійною та таємничою, як водограй і туман на горах.
En: In his opinion, this language was melodious and mysterious, like a waterfall and mist in the mountains.

Uk: Він зустрічався не раз з Богданом, приятелем його дитинства з Франції, і відразу ж подружився з Юлією та Оксаною за спільну любов до мистецтва.
En: He had met Bohdan, his childhood friend from France, on several occasions, and immediately befriended Yulia and Oksana due to their mutual love for art.

Uk: Та був один термін, який він не міг зрозуміти. "Душа".
En: However, there was one term he couldn't understand. "Soul."

Uk: Тому в Оперному театрі, в творчій атмосфері, вони вирішили допомогти йому розібратися.
En: So, in the Opera House, in a creative atmosphere, they decided to help him understand.

Uk: "Душа", на думку Богдана, була, як "пісня". Вона вийшла з глибини його грудей, та заполонила простір резонансом відчуттів.
En: According to Bohdan, the soul was like a "song." It emerged from the depths of his chest, filling the space with the resonance of emotions.

Uk: Потім Юлія тихо просіпнула слово "берегиня". Справді, душа охороняє, як берегиня, людину від внутрішнього хаосу, ведучи її життєвим шляхом.
En: Then Yulia softly uttered the word "protectress". Indeed, the soul protects, like a protectress, a person from internal chaos, guiding them on their life path.

Uk: Оксана, слухаючи друзів, все це час самотужки кутнула.
En: As Oksana listened to her friends, she pondered all this.

Uk: Вона замислилася. Зросла з світами друзів, воно стало для неї словом "рідний".
En: Immersed in the worlds of her friends, the word "familiar" became significant to her.

Uk: Адже душа - ось що з'єднує людину з собою, ось що робить її рідною, незайманою у своєму існуванні.
En: Because the soul is what connects a person with themselves, making them familiar, unassuming in their existence.

Uk: Алек, послухавши все це, зазирнув у свою душу.
En: Alec, after hearing all this, peered into his soul.

Uk: "Душа", він повторив, лунав іншими мовами, але тепер він зрозумів її в український манер.
En: "Soul," he repeated, echoing in different languages, but now he understood it in the Ukrainian manner.

Uk: Він бачив у ній пісню Богдана, берегиню Юлії, і рідну Оксани.
En: He saw in it Bohdan's song, Yulia's protectress, and Oksana's familiar.

Uk: Вперше він відчув "душу" в цій прекрасній мові.
En: For the first time, he felt the "soul" in this beautiful language.

Uk: Ніч старого Львова огорнула їх теплою обійми, відповідаючи на шепіт їхніх душ.
En: The night of old Lviv enveloped them in a warm embrace, responding to the whisper of their souls.

Uk: Розповідь закінчиласЯ. Вони, усміхаючись одне одному, розійшлись у різні боки Львова, занурившись у серце ночі з усвідомленням нового поняття "душа".
