Ca: En la ciutat de les meravelles, Barcelona, un dia esplèndid, es preparava per celebrar la Diada de Sant Jordi.
En: In the city of wonders, Barcelona, on a splendid day, was preparing to celebrate the Diada de Sant Jordi.

Ca: Farcit d'estimació i de galanteria, Jordi, un jove simpàtic, caminava per les vivaces Rambles.
En: Filled with affection and gallantry, Jordi, a friendly young man, walked along the lively Ramblas.

Ca: Estaven plenes de gent amb ulls brillants, posant llibres i roses de colors vermells i grocs vibrant d'alegria.
