Description
I recently had the privilege of having James Weait on the Employment Services Show Podcast. James has had a diverse and international career in Employment Services. With over 15 years’...
show moreJames’ career with UK Ingeus/Deloitte evolved into his role as General Manager with over $100m of contracts delivered by a unique not-for-profit and for-profit partnership to deliver Australian government contracts.
In early 2019 James took a leap of faith and branched out on his own and founded Populi Solutions, which provides vocational programs and consulting that directly and indirectly empower people facing complex challenges in local communities.
I am excited to have him as a guest as he’s someone that understands the science when it comes to identifying the gaps in this industry and shares in-depth wisdom that only comes with years of experience.
What we covered on the full podcast:
1.How James got started in employment services and what led him to his career path today.
2.What are some gaps that he sees in how some employment service providers operate, and what providers can do to fix these gaps.
3.Having worked in employment services in both UK and Australia, some key differences in how both countries operate.
4.If he could go back to when he first started in a leadership role in Employment services, knowing what he knows now, what advice he would have given himself.
5.The 4 programs that James is running that are making a major difference to individuals who are looking for work.
