This past week was Transgender Awareness Week. A perfect time to look at how much love is lacking for people who may seem different to others.
Rather than embracing people with love, many times a fear of what we don't understand will cause unloving acts, sometimes horrible acts. How do we overcome hate with love...we must die to hate or be reborn in love and then learn to live in our new nature. We are all going through a transition.
All through Scripture we see where God rescues us; mostly from ourselves. But the true rescue came when one person laid down their life for ours. A perfect seed whose very nature is love died so that we who believe can be reborn of incorruptible seed. Learning to love all of God's creation as beautiful and diverse and valuable. Allow God, through Jesus Christ to bring you new life.
