This is the introduction of a trifecta of interesting characters (Tuon, Selucia, and Semirhage) as well as an onramp to Mat’s impending return from under the wall. Seth and Aradia disagree about the veracity of Seanchan omen-seeking, while enjoying the depth of Seanchan lore that is dropped in this short chapter.
