"Impress" in this context might put us in a state of higgledy-piggledy...firstly, it is wrong to see a lady on a first glance and ask her out immediately...there has to be a time factor before you can confidently approach her asking her out...which during this process a whole lot of things is required, communication and the likes...which to me I don't consider as trying to impress rather an act of expressing or showing how much you really do care. If you then deem it fit you've known her too well, you can then tell her what you feel about her. N.B: Trying to impress a lady is like pouring a glass water into an ocean...
