Then, on the rest of the menu, with cyberattacks against water utilities across the country becoming more frequent and more severe, the Environmental Protection Agency issued an enforcement alert urging water systems to take immediate actions to protect the nation’s drinking water; Minnesota lawmakers failed to pass a state Equal Rights Amendment in their Constitution as the 2024 legislative session came to an acrimonious end; and, former Arizona Republican Party chair Kelli Ward and at least eleven other people are set to be arraigned today on conspiracy, forgery and fraud charges stemming from their fake elector scheme.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where a British court ruled Julian Assange can appeal an extradition order to the United States on espionage charges; and, China’s Ministry of Commerce announced sanctions against Boeing and two other defense companies for arms sales to Taiwan.
