Starting off in the Bistro Cafe, America’s allies are sounding the alarm on the Trump menace.
Then, on the rest of the menu, the Oregon Senate, on a party line vote, approved a bill to ban book bans; the FBI and state investigators seek tips about the explosive left outside the Alabama attorney general’s office after he said he would not enforce any in vitro fertilization bans; and, out-of-control wildfires swept across the Texas Panhandle, prompting evacuations, cutting off power to thousands, and forcing the shutdown of a nuclear weapons facility.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where a former member of Germany’s Leftist Red Army Faction has been arrested after decades on the run; and, three men arrested during an investigation into right-wing extremism were charged in a London court with preparing to commit terrorist acts.
All that and more, on West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy with Chef de Cuisine Justice Putnam.

"To those of us who believe that all of life is sacred every crumb of bread and sip of wine is a Eucharist, a remembrance, a call to awareness of holiness right where we are. I want all of the holiness of the Eucharist to spill out beyond church walls, out of the hands of priests and into the regular streets and sidewalks, into the hands of regular, grubby people like you and me, onto our tables, in our kitchens and dining rooms and backyards.”
