Today’s West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy Podcast for our especially special Daily Special, Blue Moon Spirits Fridays, is now available on the Spreaker Player!
Starting off in the Bistro Cafe, the Supreme Court’s key decision on Trump’s immunity challenge is about to drop, as soon as Thomas and Alito finish writing their dissents.
Then, on the rest of the menu, Washington state lawmakers advanced a bill making it a felony to threaten election workers; “Discount Goebbels” Stephen Miller lost big in a racially-charged lawsuit to restrict voting in Arizona; and, a Texas judge ruled a Texas school can legally discriminate against a Black Texas teen for not styling his hair to his white Texas superior’s liking.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where the UN Food and Agriculture Organization set a target of thirty-five percent growth in aquaculture production by 2030 to fight world hunger; and, a private lander made the first US touchdown on the moon in more than fifty years.
All that and more, on West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy with Chef de Cuisine Justice Putnam.
