On Episode 2 of the West Catholic Football Update, head coach Landon Grove talks about how proud he is of his team and coaching staff after a convincing 28-20 win over D4 powerhouse Edwardsburg at Hope College.

"It's another beautiful day on the West Side of the Valley," he says on today's Podcast. "Glad to be here 1-0."

Coach Grove talks to WC content strategist John Gonzalez about how his team excelled on the field through the first three quarters, leading 28-20 before giving up points. He says there is still some work to be done, but adds the team is moving in the right direction.

He also breaks down what to expect from Ferndale, a team in the Metro Detroit area that plays a different style game compared to their Week 1 opponent, meaning he expects more passing and a quicker style of play.

The game is at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1 at Ferndale HS.
