Welcome back to Episode Ten of "The Voice of the Broken"! We're thrilled to hit double digits and celebrate this milestone with you. Today's episode is special as it highlights a success story amidst our usual heavy themes. Our storyteller is a 29-year-old who turned his life around from drug dealing to becoming a proud father. Growing up in a tumultuous environment with domestic violence and homelessness, he found himself deep in the drug trade. A turning point came when a girl he liked wouldn't commit to a drug dealer, prompting him to change his life. He earned his GED, got his driver's license, and secured his first official job. Fast forward to today, he's a devoted family man, happily married with two sons, and credits therapy, family support, and a conscious decision to improve his life for his remarkable transformation.A huge shoutout to Zach and Jenny for their behind-the-scenes work and to my wonderful wife, Peaches, for her dedication to her own mental health podcast episodes. Remember, our podcast often deals with intense themes like abuse and self-harm, so please take care if these topics are difficult for you. Thank you for tuning in and supporting our community. If you want to share your story, email us at 2bebetter@gmail.com, titled "The Voice of the Broken." Let's continue to change the world, one story at a time. See you in the next episode!
