Good morning daughter, this happens when people try to sneak into the sheepfold another way short of 'discipleship.' Jesus layed down the prerequisite in order to come after Him and follow him, he stated, "Let A Man (this includes women) DENY HIMSELF, = (i.e. He requires everyone to Lay Aside your own agenda), take up your cross, and follow him. Jesus Christ is the door to the sheepfold, and he stated if we come up another way it is the same as a thief and a robber. Daughter we have people trying to be Sons and Daughters and have not entered in at the door of DISCIPLESHIP. Then those of us who accept people on this basis later on when the agenda was NEVER laid aside, during critical times of testing thatis when this HIDDEN AGENDA comes to the surface. God saw it for the inbox of our selfish ways is empty, and we never gave the Lord the minimum requirement. He went on to say if we do not HATE (give preference over) our Father, Mother, Wife, Children, and immediate family members, we are not worthy to be His disciples. So daughter with hidden agenda's the root of it is a lack of discipleship.
