Story Transcript:

Cy: Ar ddiwrnod stormus yn Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, roedd Rhys a Elin yn cerdded ar hyd y stryd pan ddaeth glaw trwm i lawr o'r awyr.
En: On a stormy day in Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, Rhys and Elin were walking along the street when heavy rain came pouring down from the sky.

Cy: Roedd pob un yn chwilio am rywbeth i'w gadw'n sych: Rhys oedd â'i ymbarél fawr las, ac Elin â'i hymbarél bach pinc pinc.
En: Everyone was looking for something to keep dry: Rhys had his big blue umbrella, and Elin had her little pink umbrella.

Cy: Rhaid i chi wybod, roedd ymbarél Rhys yn bwysig iddo iawn, oherwydd roedd yn anrheg pen-blwydd gan ei fam.
En: You must know, Rhys's umbrella was very important to him because it was a birthday gift from his mom.

Cy: Elin hefyd, roedd ei hymbarél yn arbennig oherwydd ei fod yn ddiweddar wedi ei phrynu o siop leol.
En: Elin's umbrella was also special because she had recently bought it from a local shop.

Cy: Pan fydd thunder a mellt yn chwarae yn yr awyr, Rhys a Elin redeg i dan lloches.
En: When thunder and lightning played in the sky, Rhys and Elin ran for cover.

Cy: Yn y chwalfa, heb ei sylweddoli, fe gafodd eu hymbarelau eu cyfnewid.
En: In the confusion, without realizing, their umbrellas got swapped.

Cy: Pan daw'r glaw i ben, rhoddodd Rhys ymbarél pinc Elin o dan ei fraich a cherdded i ffwrdd, ac Elin ei hun gyda ymbarél fawr las Rhys.
En: When the rain stopped, Rhys put Elin's pink umbrella under his arm and walked away, and Elin herself with Rhys's big blue umbrella.

Cy: Pan gyrhaeddodd Rhys adref a sylwi ar y camgymeriad, dechreuodd boeni am ei ymbarél arbennig.
En: When Rhys arrived home and noticed the mix-up, he began to worry about his special umbrella.

Cy: Cymryd i mewn bod Elin wedi sylwi ar yr un peth. Roedd Rhys yn pendroni sut i ddod o hyd i Elin, fel y gallai adennill ei ymbarél priodol.
En: Taking in that Elin had noticed the same thing, Rhys was wondering how to find Elin, so that he could retrieve his appropriate umbrella.

Cy: Erbyn hyn, Elin oedd yn y siop lle prynodd ei hymbarél.
En: By now, Elin was in the shop where she had purchased her umbrella.

Cy: Roedd hi'n gofyn i'r perchennog a welodd ef rywun gyda ymbarél las fawr.
En: She was asking the owner if he had seen anyone with a big blue umbrella.

Cy: Rhys, ar yr un pryd, oedd yn holi pobl yn y stryd os oeddent wedi gweld merch ifanc gydag ymbarél pinc pinc.
En: At the same time, Rhys was asking people on the street if they had seen a young girl with a little pink umbrella.

Cy: Gyda peth lwc, yn ôl yn y fan lle cyfnewidiwyd eu hymbarelau, Roedd Rhys a Elin yn cyd-ddigwydd a cherdded i mewn i'w gilydd.
En: With a stroke of luck, back at the spot where their umbrellas were exchanged, Rhys and Elin coincidentally met and walked towards each other.

Cy: Agorodd Rhys y sgwrs gydag "Helo, yr wyf yn meddwl bod hwn yn eiddo i chi" gan godi'r ymbarél pinc pinc.
En: Rhys started the conversation with "Hello, I think this is yours" raising the little pink umbrella.

Cy: Gwenodd Elin a dywedodd "Diolch yn fawr, ac mae hwn yn eiddo i chi!" gan roi iddo ei ymbarél fawr las.
En: Elin smiled and said "Thank you, and this is yours!" giving him his big blue umbrella.

Cy: Roeddent ill dau yn chwerthin am y sefyllfa wirion a sut maent wedi rheoli i ddod i ben yn ôl gyda'r pethau cywir.
En: Both laughed about the silly situation and how they managed to sort things out.

Cy: Er gwaethaf y camgymeriad, dewisodd Rhys a Elin yfed paned o de gyda'i gilydd yn siop de leol.
En: Despite the mix-up, Rhys and Elin chose to have a cup of tea together at a nearby cafe.

Cy: Daeth y ddau yn ffrindiau da, a byth eto fydden nhw'n anghofio'r tro hwn pan gyfnewidiodd glaw trwm ddwy ymbarél a dau fywyd.
En: The two became good friends, and they would never forget this time when heavy rain exchanged two umbrellas and two lives.
