The spectacle of a former U.S. president on trial for allegedly falsifying financial records in an effort to pay off a porn star and influence an election continues today. Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen is expected to finish testifying. The defense doesn’t have many witnesses to call so closing arguments may not be far off. An article in the New York Times suggests prosecutors have law and precedent on their side.
