We used to air check our shows once maybe four times a week. It wasn't to feed the ego but to help design a better connection with listeners on the move. We'd listen to the shows in cars because that's where most people were taking in our songs and vibe. Then we'd have to sit with the program director and hear their side of the showmanship. Not always good times.
