David begins this talk by answering a very deep question about the metaphors in A Course in Miracles regarding time. Ultimately, if the separation from God never occurred, then the Holy Instant is not something we should need to wait for; it is Now. Yet Jesus offers us other metaphors in his Course that are like rungs on a ladder we can more easily grasp, depending on where we seem to be on the spiritual awakening journey.
