Known for their liberalism and free-loving spirit, Austinites tent to be more progressive than the rest of the state—a prominent reason Ashley moved there from the Midwest in 2016. Having worked for the tourism office, a non profit theatre and now a music and film non-profit, Ashley knows a thing or two about Austin, Texas.
