A sermon preached by Jamie Lingerfelt. There is a constant battle between darkness and light, but there is a turning point coming to the lives of those who follow Jesus. God's victory is so complete that He is able to make even the worst things of this natural world work for the good of those that love Him and are called according to His purpose. Nothing is impossible for God. We will all face battles, and there are times when the enemy will strike us with a hard blow. But the battle is the Lord's, and He always wins His battles. The truth of the matter is that we can have joy through any storm, any battle, any struggle - if we will seek God and spend time in His presence. Sometimes when it looks like the enemy has won a battle, we ultimately become more than conquerors through Christ. God restores what was lost and then gives us even more or better than we had before. Being Christian doesn't mean that everything will be perfect, but it does mean that everything works for our good.
