Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12, 13 & 14, Daniel 9:27, Rev 13:16-18, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4, Esther
When we place our faith in Jesus Christ, we are joined to Him spiritually. We have “continuous atonement” by the blood of Jesus so when we sin the Holy Spirit doesn’t leave us. (we don’t lose our salvation)
“You shall be witnesses to Me!!!”
Jesus has forgiven your sins.
Jesus is from eternity.
Jesus is the Baptizer in the Holy Spirit.
Jesus is God come in the flesh.
TWO PARTICIPANTS
There is God who gives the Holy Spirit.
There are the humans who receive the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, those who set your mind on the Spirit, we will be led by the Spirit.
Father God’s goal is each person’s heart will be changed to become more and more like His Son’s heart.
Everything a believer does in ministry must be motivated and guided by love.
All Christians can prophesy.
Edify—the act of building
Exhort—urge one to use some course of conduct
Comfort—encouragement
