What is the Pre Diet Philosophy?

The pre diet philosophy is essentially getting the proper lifestyle in place before taking restrictive measures to your health. Having a preface to strategic dietary protocols that can help you sustain and experience 10x more success in the long run. (and the long run is actually insanely important!)

The pre diet philosophy means that you have to “earn the right” to diet. These days, nutritionists and coaches are throwing around diets like it’s candy (no pun intended) and these “pinterest diets” are wrecking the emotional and physical health of chronic dieters.

Show spoiler alert: if you found diet advice on pinterest, it’s not true. I promise.

So what does it mean to have the proper lifestyle in place?

-Focus on the quality on your food
-Healthy energy levels throughout the day
-Gut health
-Blood sugar regulation


We talk about some of the myths of the health industry like:

Quality vs Quantity- should you never focus on the amount of food you eat, just focus on eating the right foods? OR should you do just the opposite and focus only on the right amounts of food, regardless of the quality?

Mindset and the human element of health- there are essential mindset shift that the personal development field has been mastering, but the health field has not tapped into. How can we merge the two?

When should you be eating?

Should you be eating more or less fat? Why? What are the benefits and what are the risks? (especially for female hormones!)

Ali shares her thoughts and experiences with the foundational practice of digestion and let’s not candy coat it: we talk about poop.
