On Halloween of 1974, Ronald O'Bryan became the original candyman. He is the reason we check our Halloween candy every year looking for that one wrapper that seems to be slightly out of place. However, our current fears take us to candy from strangers, but what if it is your own father handing over a piece of candy? This must be the safest candy to a child... Unfortunately this was not the case with Timothy O'Bryan, as it was his own father who was the monster with the poisoned candy.
