Great Episode. I thought I would share an experience with the guys that is kinda relevant to Kent’s death stories. I am a 24 year law enforcement professional and on 4th of July 2022, we got a call of shots fired at an apartment, upon arrival, we found a subject known to us who had committed suicide by putting a .357 mag in his mouth and quickly removing the top of his head and depositing most of his in-tact brain on the sidewalk next to him, nothing too crazy. However, the fact that he was largely paralyzed and got around in a motorized wheelchair and he had limited use of his hands. Still nothing too crazy, until we talked to his neighbor who said she watched the man shoot himself 2 times, in the mouth with said revolver. We figured out that with his limited hand use, he put the revolver in his mouth the first time, cocked the hammer and as he pulled the trigger, the revolver slipped, canted to his left and the bullet traveled through his left cheek, upper jaw and left ear. He then re-positioned the revolver, re-cocked the hammer and successfully sent the second round through the roof of his mouth and removing the top of his head. We were astonished ths the was even consious after the first round, let alone able to think clearly enough to finish the job.
