Mark's right, Americans are dumb. I was talking to a friend about politics, international relations to be precise, and he meant to refer to the Balkanize, as in to break up a region into smaller and smaller hostile units, and he said Vulcanize. Not sure people know what the Baltics are anymore. Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, as well as Finland, which border Russia and the Baltic Sea. There is a lot more going on in the world today than there was when most of us were in school. And our dumbed down media doesn't help any.
