ML has left the building. The Leftovers welcome Bill Morris to discuss his definitive book on the Detroit Lions. Plus- Erika's many cars, Shawn's "lack" of style, Marc's panda hatred, and the best named doner in show history.

STRAIGHT DOPE: ML Elrick has decided to take the week off to recover after following his Spartans east. MSU dropped a heart breaker to Boston College.

Shawn, Erika, and Marc welcome in author Bill Morris. Bill has written a definitive history of the Detroit Lions, the Ford Family and the road to redemption in the NFL.  William Clay Ford really did want to win, but it took Sheila Ford Hamp to really turn the team around.

Marc drives a Ford Explorer and Shawn drives a "boring Honda".  It turns out the true gearhead in the group is Erika.  But two questions- does the color of your car really matter? Can you picture Shawn on a Ducati?

GEEK OF THE WEEK: Marc can't quite pick just one so the group votes on who is the biggest geek.

Nomination #1- North Carolina gubernatorial candidade Mark Robinson has described himself as a "Black Nazi" and once claimed to want to reinstate slavery.  At least, that's according to alleged posts he made on an adult website... and that's just the tame stuff.

Nomination #2- Some kid doxxed Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell and revealed where his family lived.  There were so many nuts that showed up after losses, the family had to move.

Nomination #3- Pandas.  They are lazy, uninterested in sex and they drain human resources. They don't even have the energy to fight.

ROOM 7609: Listener David suggests a live song.  Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats performing "I Need Never Get Old" on the Tonight Show.  The song was recorded at Stax records and sounds a little bit like one of the label's classic tunes.
