It: Il sole era appena sorto su Venezia, quella mattina.
En: The sun had just risen over Venice that morning.

It: Le prime luci del giorno si riflettevano sull'acqua dei canali, dipingendo la città con sfumature d'oro.
En: The first lights of the day were reflecting on the water of the canals, painting the city with golden hues.

It: Questa è la storia di Giovanni, un turista curioso, e Sofia, una ragazza veneziana dal riso contagioso.
En: This is the story of Giovanni, a curious tourist, and Sofia, a Venetian girl with a contagious laughter.

It: Giovanni, affascinato dalla Piazza San Marco, aveva deciso di passarci tutta la giornata.
