This week is National Health Center Week! We had spoke with Henry Taylor, CEO of Mile Square Health Center, one of the country’s first federally qualified health centers. In 1967, Mile Square’s first neighborhood clinic opened as part of the “War on Poverty” program. Today, Mile Square continues to serve Chicago's disenfranchised communities and over the last 50 years their service area has grown to include almost 25% of Chicago’s population.
