Sv: I staden vi alla älskar, Stockholm, pekar det blåa och gula IKEA-varuhuset upp mot himlen som en fyr.
En: In the city we all love, Stockholm, the blue and yellow IKEA store points up to the sky like a lighthouse.

Sv: På en sval hösteftermiddag befann sig Erik, Ingrid och Lars i denna gigantiska labyrint av möbler, köttbullar och de eviga väntetiderna.
En: On a cool autumn afternoon, Erik, Ingrid, and Lars found themselves in this gigantic labyrinth of furniture, meatballs, and eternal waiting times.

Sv: De var inte bara där för att köpa nya Billy-bokhyllor det här var en tävling.
En: They weren't just there to buy new Billy bookcases, this was a competition.

Sv: Den glade och självsäkre Erik föreslog utmaningen, "Vem tror ni kan hitta ut först?".
En: Cheerful and confident Erik proposed the challenge, "Who do you think can find their way out first?"

Sv: Allt var plötsligt spegelvänd och vägen tillbaka till huvudkorridoren verkade bortgömd.

Sv: De splittrades, och var på egna äventyr.
En: They got separated and embarked on their own adventures.

Sv: Ingrid stod still och rynkade pannan, självförtroendet började slå sprickor.
En: Ingrid stood still and furrowed her brow, her confidence starting to crack.

Sv: Men hon skakade av sig tvivlet och gick energiskt vidare mot lampavdelningen.
En: But she shook off the doubt and energetically moved on towards the lighting department.

Sv: Erik roade sig med att prova alla vattenkranar han passerade.
En: Erik amused himself by trying out all the water faucets he passed by.

Sv: "Bra spel", sa Erik och sträckte ut handen till dem båda.

Sv: Och de visste att äventyret var mer intressant än destinationen.
En: And they knew that the adventure was more interesting than the destination.

Sv: Även om destinationen var varmkorv och mjukglass från IKEA-kafeterian.
En: Even though the destination included hot dogs and soft ice cream from the IKEA café.
