I know for me, I have always carried a lot of anxiety around performance, and the fear of "what if I fall short of expectations" and it really hamstringed me. It's a big hurdle to overcome, especially if allowed to take root over the years.

Oooh, loved this one! I just got my friend to listen, she's also got two young kids just getting into horses and I think this perspective is so important to engrain early. To help build resilience, because it can be really hard to bounce back when you fall flat, especially if you're fighting against it, rather than accepting failure as an integral part of the journey.
