Description
"So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer." (2 Corinthians 5:16)...
show moreThe Apostle Paul who wrote this letter to the Church at Corinth once considered Jesus to be nothing more than a man. Paul actively led the aggressive persecution of Christians until God changed his heart and he became a follower of Jesus. When that happened, he no longer regarded Jesus as a mere man. Paul finally understands that Jesus is fully God and fully man, the one who took the penalty of death for the sins we committed and then raised from the dead. Because of that, Paul has also come to understand that we too will have life after death. We are more than just what we appear to be in the state of our brokenness and we too will someday be fully restored thanks to Jesus who set us free from the penalty of death. He's where the joy is!
