Story Transcript:

Uk: Помісив голову в двері, Анна навіть не помітила, як пусто в кафе.
En: Bumping her head against the door, Anna didn't even notice how empty the cafe was.

Uk: Був пізній вечір, шум Києва уже затихав за вікнами.
En: It was late evening, and the noise of Kiev had already subsided outside the windows.

Uk: Фрагменти її дня збиралися в пазл і створювали картину повсякденного хаосу, проте вона шукала у тому спокій.
En: Fragments of her day were coming together like puzzle pieces, creating a picture of everyday chaos, yet she was searching for peace in it.

Uk: Ввійшовши, Анна розширила своє поле зору.
En: Entering, Anna widened her field of vision.

Uk: Олександр - єдиний, хто залишався.
En: Alexander was the only one remaining.

Uk: Зустрілася з ним взглядами і побачила на його обличчі веселку, яку можна зрозуміти лише в тих, кого добре знаєш.
En: Their eyes met, and she saw a rainbow on his face, only understood by those who know him well.

Uk: Олександр, як завжди, готував вареники, і він посміхався - знала вже, що це означає.
En: Alexander, as always, was cooking dumplings, and he was smiling - she already knew what that meant.

Uk: "Знаєш, Анна," - Олександр протягнув, діставаючи декілька гарячих вареників з каструлі, - "У мене є теорія, що всі проблеми світу можна вирішити за допомогою вареників!
En: "You know, Anna," Alexander said, reaching into the pot and taking out a few hot dumplings, "I have a theory that all the world's problems can be solved with dumplings!"

Uk: "Анна світло засміялась, вважаючи його слова жартом, але потім замислилася.
En: Anna laughed lightly, considering his words a joke, but then she paused.

Uk: Вона розглядала вареники, запах яких заповнив приміщення, і задумилася, чи є в цьому якась образа.
En: She looked at the dumplings, whose aroma filled the room, and wondered if there was any insult in it.

Uk: "Олександре, ти що, кажеш, що я є проблемою, яку можна вирішити варениками?
En: "Alexander, are you saying that I am a problem that can be solved with dumplings?"

Uk: " - вона підняла брову, намагаючись приховати свою зацікавленість за маскою веселощів.
En: she raised an eyebrow, trying to hide her curiosity behind a mask of playfulness.

Uk: На його обличчі розігралося здивування, а потім м'яке незрозуміння.
En: Surprise appeared on his face, followed by a soft confusion.

Uk: Здавалося, йому забракло слів на мить.
En: It seemed like he was momentarily lost for words.

Uk: Він згорнув ще один вареник і поклав його на тарілку поряд з іншими, його вираз обличчя став серйозним.
En: He folded another dumpling and placed it on the plate next to the others.

Uk: "Звісно, ні, Анно, я ніколи не подумаю, що ти проблема.
En: His expression became serious.

Uk: Прости, я не хотів образити тебе.
En: "Of course not, Anna, I would never think that you are a problem.

Uk: " Помітивши його сконфузженість, вона вирішила розрядити момент.
En: I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you."

Uk: "О, Олександре," - вона закотила очима, приховуючи посмішку.
En: Noticing his embarrassment, she decided to lighten the moment.

Uk: - "Ти думаєш, я насправді ображена?
En: "Oh, Alexander," she rolled her eyes, hiding a smile, "Do you really think I'm offended?

Uk: Було б цікаво спробувати вирішити свої проблеми за допомогою вареників!
En: It would be interesting to try solving my problems with dumplings!"

Uk: " Вона вибухнула сміхом, змушуючи його також засміятися.
En: She burst into laughter, making him laugh too.

Uk: Їхній сміх заповнив кафе, вписуючись у рамки теплої, затишної атмосфери.
En: Their laughter filled the cafe, fitting into the frames of a warm, cozy atmosphere.

Uk: Вони поглянули одне на інше, обидва знаючи, що це був тільки жарт, та обіцяючи один одному, що ніякий вареник ніколи не стане причиною справжнього конфлікту між ними.
En: They looked at each other, both knowing it was just a joke, and promising each other that no dumpling would ever cause a real conflict between them.
