I'm not a people person. Community leaders, business decision makers and even preachers don't have to be a people person. We know the mission at hand. We totally grasp the concept and purpose of the requirement. The definition of a people person is simple. It's a quality you are born with. You can't learn it. A people person doesn't make a great conversationalist nor can they easily solve difficult situations. Which might explain why leaders, bosses and teachers fall short of enjoying a friendship with others. I've been known to say, "I will create with you. We will enjoy mind blowing success. But I will never party with you." It's time you embrace your non people person self and open your imagination.
