Story Transcript:

Sv: Solen strålade ovanför Stockholm och färgade staden i gyllene toner.
En: The sun shone above Stockholm, coloring the city in golden tones.

Sv: Anders, Emma och Sofia, tre gamla vänner, packade in den nya Billy bokhylla från IKEA i bilen.
En: Anders, Emma, and Sofia, three old friends, packed the new Billy bookshelf from IKEA into the car.

Sv: De klargjorde att de skulle sätta ihop den utan instruktioner, för hur svårt kunde det vara?
En: They decided to assemble it without instructions, because how hard could it be?

Sv: De tre vännerna åkte tillbaka till Anders lägenhet i Vasastan, en förtrollande plats med gamla trägolv och stora fönster.
En: The three friends returned to Anders' apartment in Vasastan, an enchanting place with old wooden floors and large windows.

Sv: I bilen, Emma bläddrade genom manualen, men hon kastade snabbt det åt sidan, bestämd att de inte skulle behöva det.
En: In the car, Emma flipped through the manual, but quickly pushed it aside, determined that they wouldn't need it.

Sv: "Vi är intelligentare än en manual" sa hon skämtsamt.

En: "Next time, maybe we should read the instructions," Sofia laughed, and the other two agreed.

Sv: Efter att ha återfått sin andning, satte de alla nya hyllan vid väggen, fyllde den med böcker och andra ting.
En: After catching their breath, they placed the new shelf against the wall, filled it with books and other things.

En: You see, some stories are not about the destination, but the journey.

Sv: Vännerna lärde sig att, trots det skeva och komiska resultatet, var det hela processen att bygga denna bokhylla ett minne att skratta åt i åratal.
