Nl: De zon schitterde op de grachten van Amsterdam.
En: The sun was shimmering on the canals of Amsterdam.

Nl: Twee mensen, Lars en Lotte, liepen op de klinkers samen.
En: Two people, Lars and Lotte, walked on the cobblestones together.

Nl: Ze genoten van de mooie dag.
En: They were enjoying the beautiful day.

Nl: Lars, met zijn blauwe ogen en blond haar, was een echte selfie-gek.
En: Lars, with his blue eyes and blond hair, was a real selfie-obsessed person.

Nl: Hij had zijn telefoon altijd klaar staan.
En: He always had his phone ready.

En: His smile slowly appeared on his face.

En: He splashed water at Lotte.

Nl: Meteen stopte ze met lachen.
En: Immediately, she stopped laughing.

Nl: "Niet doen, Lars!
En: "Don't do that, Lars!"

Nl: " riep Lotte.
En: Lotte shouted.

Nl: Ze rende uit de buurt.
En: She ran away.

Nl: Nu moest Lars lachen.
En: Now it was Lars' turn to laugh.

Nl: Hij leek de telefoon en de selfie vergeten te zijn.
En: He seemed to have forgotten about the phone and the selfie.
