The Arbiters of Conservatism

An asset that Democrats have is that they are quick to circle the wagons and do what they have to do to win. Republicans and Conservatives on the other hand have the exact opposite thing going on. This is an asset and a negative. It’s an asset because we are independent thinkers but it is also a detriment because it leads to a lot of in-fighting as to what one considers to be a Conservative. If there is an Arbiter of Conservatism, I have to ask: Who watches the watchman?
