Cs: Bouřkový mrak zahalil obzor nad šumavským lesem, přináší hromy, které se ozývají jako vzdálené bubny.
En: A storm cloud shrouded the horizon over the Šumava forest, bringing thunder that resounded like distant drums.

Cs: Karel, Lenka a Tomáš právě překračovali hustý podrost, když první kapky deště začaly dopadat na jejich ramena.
En: Karel, Lenka, and Tomáš were just crossing the thick underbrush when the first drops of rain began to fall on their shoulders.

Cs: "Kudy teď?"
En: "Which way now?"

Cs: zeptal se Tomáš, skrývající lehký třas v hlase.

Cs: Udělal krok kupředu, tlačen touhou ukázat, že dokáže vést.

Cs: Všichni tři se vydali podle Karlova rozhodnutí.
En: All three followed Karel's decision.

Cs: Divočinou zněl zesilující hukot větru a hromů.

Cs: Lenka ale slyšela něco jiného.
En: But Lenka heard something else.

Cs: Průzračný zvuk tekoucí vody se jí zdál být blízko.
