A quote I like by Alan Watts talks about how you don’t listen to a symphony only to get to the last note. Everyone seems to want to get through to the end of whatever it is they are watching, no longer interested in the process of learning. A song, like in a symphony, is about the journey through the song, the dance of it. If it wasn’t, there would be no song, the composer would stand up, the orchestra would play one note, and the show would be over. How silly is that? Lol. Life is the dance, the process is the point.
