Story Transcript:

Th: ในหมู่บ้านเล็ก ๆ ในภาคอีสาน ประเทศไทย มีชื่อว่าบ้านดอกคูน หมู่บ้านล้อมรอบไปด้วยนาข้าวกว้างใหญ่
En: In a small village in the northeastern region of Thailand, called Ban Dok Khun, the village is surrounded by vast rice fields.

Th: น้ำฝนกระหน่ำลงมาเย็นสบาย ทุกคนในหมู่บ้านรู้จักกันดีและช่วยเหลือกันเสมอ
En: The rain falls refreshingly, and everyone in the village knows each other well and always helps one another.

Th: สมศักดิ์เป็นชาวนาขยัน
En: Somsak is a diligent farmer.

Th: ทุกวันเขาต้องตื่นเช้าออกไปทำนา
En: Every day, he must wake up early to work in the fields.

Th: เขายืนอยู่กลางนาข้าว มองดูท้องฟ้าที่มีเมฆครึ้มใจคิดถึงความฝันของเขา
En: He stands in the middle of the rice field, looking at the cloudy sky, thinking of his dream.

En: One day, after finishing his work in the fields, Somsak sits to rest at his stilted wooden house.

Th: เขาตัดสินใจว่า ด้วยใจรักและความฝันที่ไม่อาจปล่อยให้ล่วงไป
En: He decides that with his love and dreams, he cannot let go.

Th: บุญธรรม เพื่อนบ้านและเพื่อนสนิทของสมศักดิ์ ได้ยินข้อความนี้และสนับสนุนเขา
En: Buntham, a neighbor and close friend of Somsak, hears this and supports him.

Th: "สมศักดิ์ ถ้าเจ้ามีใจต้องทำ เจ้าต้องกล้าแสดงออก"
En: "Somsak, if your heart is in it, you must dare to express yourself."

Th: สมศักดิ์ฝึกฝนทุกค่ำคืน หลังจากเสร็จงานทำนา
En: Somsak practices every night after his farming work is done.

Th: เขาซ้อมร้องเพลงหมอลำในห้องของเขาจนดึกดื่น
En: He rehearses singing mor lam songs in his room until late at night.

Th: เขาร้องเพลงโปงลาง สมศักดิ์รวบรวมความกล้ามากขึ้น ทุกครั้งก็มั่นใจมากขึ้น
En: He sings Pong Lang songs, gaining more courage and confidence with each practice session.

Th: มาถึงวันงานหมอลำ
En: The day of the mor lam festival arrives.

Th: เวทีใหญ่ตั้งอยู่กลางหมู่บ้าน มีคนมากมายยืนดู
En: A big stage is set up in the middle of the village, and many people stand around watching.

Th: สมศักดิ์ใจเต้นแรง เขายืนอยู่หลังเวที เหงื่อไหลลงแขนและหน้าผาก
En: Somsak’s heart races as he stands behind the stage; sweat drips down his arms and forehead.

Th: แต่แล้วเขานึกถึงคำว่า "ถ้าหากเจ้ามีใจต้องทำ"
En: But then he remembers the words, "If your heart is in it, you must do it."

Th: เขารวบรวมความกล้า และก้าวขึ้นเวที
En: He gathers his courage and steps onto the stage.

Th: เสียงดนตรีเริ่มบรรเลง

En: Everyone in the village is impressed and listens quietly.

Th: สมศักดิ์ร้องเพลงด้วยใจรัก
En: Somsak sings with all his heart.

Th: คนดูเงียบสงัดในช่วงกลางเพลง และเมื่อเพลงจบ เสียงปรบมือดังก้องทั่วหมู่บ้าน
En: The audience is silent in the middle of the song, and when he finishes, applause echoes throughout the village.

Th: ใบหน้าของทุกคนยิ้มแย้ม
En: Everyone’s face beams with smiles.
