Hi, I'm Gail Nobles and you're listening to Explanae Moment. Explanation! A story behind a song!
Smokey Robinson gave a beautiful tribute to his singing partners in the Miracles after his departure. The title of the song is "Sweet Harmony" released in 1973 on his studio album by Tamia Records. The song was a very nice, moving, and touching. And Smokey was an awesome songwriter. In the song, "Sweet Harmony", Smokey Robinson was wishing the Miracles well.
I remember a radio station called Solid Gold Soul in N.C. That station is where I first heard the song. The station played a lot of wonderful Motown oldies, and I didn't know the story behind the song then. All I knew, it was beautiful sounding, and it made me think of world peace.
