Ever wonder what it takes to produce a magazine? And all those titles on a masthead, how does an EIC operate compared to a Creative Director, anyway? This episode co-hosts Katherine Peach and Tobias Lentz speak with each of BackMatter Magazine's six teams to explore roles, collaboration, and learning lessons as we attempt to pull off an impossible task: produce a magazine, website, and podcast from scratch — in just four months.
This episode's title is borrowed from the Alice in Wonderland quote: "Why sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."
This is a podcast about the making of the publication BackMatter, an annual print magazine created by graduate students at The New School, ourselves included, in the city of New York.
