Ah, motivation. We all need it. Many of us don't have enough of it.
If you've listened to my content in the past, you'll know I'm not a huge fan of 'motivation'. At least the way it's conventionally and modernly defined.
"Oh, I need more motivation."
"If I just had more motivation, I'd be able to get off my ass to go work out."
"I'm not motivated to do anything because the weather sucks."
"I hate our President - I think I'm going to stress eat."
In today's segment, I discuss for about 20 minutes my thoughts on 'motivation' and why I believe it's a mistake to rely on it.
Is my answer to the Motivational Problem included? Maybe, maybe not. My goal is not to solve your motivation woes. My goal is to help you develop the mental fortitude and discipline (ability to learn rather than punish) so you can make better decisions in your health and fitness journey, and NOT feel like crap.
