Cy: Roedd hi'n ddiwrnod braf a brysiog ym mhentref hirfelynog Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.
En: It was a beautiful and bustling day in the picturesque village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

Cy: Roedd Gwenllian yn symud yn gyflym a chyda chyffro - heddiw oedd dydd Eisteddfod y pentref, a'r bwriad oedd mynd i gystadleuaeth gwau, lle roedd hi'n arfer bod yn feistres.
En: Gwenllian was moving quickly and with excitement - today was the village Eisteddfod day, and the intention was to enter the knitting competition, where she was accustomed to being a mistress.

Cy: Efo bag llawn edafedd lliwgar a'i phen wedi'i lenwi â phatrymau cymhleth, cerddodd Gwenllian i'r maes lle'r oedd y stondinau'n sefyll.
En: With a bag full of colorful yarns and her head filled with intricate patterns, Gwenllian walked to the field where the stands were set up.

Cy: Roedd Ieuan, ei ffrind gorau, yn ei haros hi gyda gwên fawr.
En: Ieuan, her best friend, awaited her with a big smile.

Cy: "Pob lwc, Gwenllian!
En: "Pob lwc, Gwenllian!"

Cy: " ei gyfarchiad cynnes.
En: he warmly greeted her.

Cy: Roedd e'n gwybodd bod Gwenllian wedi bod yn paratoi am fisoedd.
En: He knew Gwenllian had been preparing for months.

Cy: Ond dim oedd yn barod am y dryswch a ddigwyddodd nesaf.
En: But she wasn't ready for the confusion that would happen next.

Cy: Ar y ffordd i'r pafiliwn gwau, collodd Gwenllian ei ffordd ac roedd y prysurdeb yn ei pheidio â gweld yr arwyddyn.
En: On the way to the knitting pavilion, Gwenllian lost her way and the busyness prevented her from seeing the signs.

Cy: Heb sylweddoli ei gwall, cerddodd i mewn i babell arall - llawn o ddefaid a bugail!
En: Unaware of her mistake, she walked into another tent - full of sheep and shepherds!

Cy: A dyna, yn syml, roedd Gwenllian wedi ymuno â chystadleuaeth fugeilio!
En: And just like that, Gwenllian had unwittingly entered a shepherding competition!

Cy: "O, na!
En: "Oh no!"

Cy: " ebe Gwenllian wrth weld y torf o ddefaid o'i blaen.
En: exclaimed Gwenllian upon seeing the crowd of sheep in front of her.

Cy: Roedd pawb yn ei hamgylch yn edrych fel eu bod nhw'n gwybod beth i'w wneud â'r anifeiliaid.
En: Everyone around her looked as if they knew what to do with the animals.

Cy: Gwenllian yn teimlo mor swil, ond roedd gan Ieuan, a ddaeth i'w chwilio, syniad.
En: Gwenllian felt so embarrassed, but Ieuan, who came looking for her, had an idea.

Cy: "Gwenllian, pam na wnei di roi cynnig arni?
En: "Gwenllian, why don't you give it a try?

Cy: Ti'n gyfarwydd â defaid Nain, do?
En: You're familiar with Nain's sheep, aren't you?"

Cy: "Er bod hi'n nerfus, penderfynodd Gwenllian roi cynnig arni.
En: Though nervous, Gwenllian decided to give it a try.

Cy: Efo annog Carys, y bugail ifanc doeth a oedd yn cystadlu wrth ei hochr, dysgodd Gwenllian sut i ddefnyddio gwialen fugeilio ac arwain y defaid.
En: Encouraged by Carys, the young wise shepherd competing alongside her, Gwenllian learned how to use a shepherd's crook and guide the sheep.

Cy: I'w syndod, roedd hi'n dal i fwynhau'r broses, a'r defaid yn ymateb iddi'n dda.
En: To her surprise, she still enjoyed the process, and the sheep responded well to her.

Cy: Awr wedyn, roedd pawb yn syllu wrth i'r ferch a oedd i fod i gystadlu mewn gwau yn herio'r disgwyliadau.
En: An hour later, everyone watched as the girl who was supposed to compete in knitting challenged expectations.

Cy: Gwenllian, gyda chymorth i'w defaid, nesáu at y diwedd gyda'r anifeiliaid yn drefnus.
En: With the help of her sheep, Gwenllian reached the end with the animals in order.

Cy: Roedd cynulleidfa'n rhyfeddu wrth i Gwenllian orffen y gystadleuaeth.
En: The crowd was amazed as Gwenllian finished the competition.

Cy: Dyfarnodd y beirniaid a, i syndod pawb, enillodd Gwenllian y wobr gyntaf!
En: To everyone's surprise, the judges awarded Gwenllian the first prize!

Cy: Camp anghredadwy i rywun nad oedd wedi bwriadu cystadlu yn y lle cyntaf.
En: Unbelievable triumph for someone who hadn't intended to compete in the first place.

Cy: Cynulleidfa yn clapio'n uchel, a dagrau o chwerthin a balchder yn llygad Gwenllian.
En: The crowd clapped loudly, and tears of laughter and pride filled Gwenllian's eyes.

Cy: "Dwi wedi dysgu gwers heddiw," meddai Gwenllian ar ôl derbyn ei gwobr, "bod yn agored i heriau newydd, a bod hyd yn oed pethau anfwriadol yn gallu arwain at gyfleoedd gwych.
En: "I've learned a lesson today," said Gwenllian after receiving her prize, "to be open to new challenges, and that even unintended things can lead to great opportunities."

Cy: "Roedd gwau yn dal yn angerdd i Gwenllian, ond nawr roedd ganddi stori anhygoel i'w hadrodd am y diwrnod y trodd hi yn fugeiliwr anfwriadol a llwyddiannus yn yr Eisteddfod.
En: Knitting still held passion for Gwenllian, but now she had an incredible story to tell about the day she turned into an unintentional and successful shepherd at the Eisteddfod.

Cy: A phawb yn Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch yn ei chofio fel y ferch a ddaeth, a gwelodd, ac a fugeiliodd.
En: And everyone in Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch remembered her as the girl who came, saw, and shepherded.
