Cy: Oedd hi'n fore hafaidd ym mhentref hiraf Cymru, Llanfair­pwllgwyn­gyll­go­ger­ych­wyrn­drobwll­llan­tysilio­gogo­goch.
En: It was a sunny morning in the longest village in Wales, Llanfair­pwllgwyn­gyll­go­ger­ych­wyrn­drobwll­llan­tysilio­gogo­goch.

Cy: Roedd Rhys, y bugail ifanc, yn cerdded gyda'i braidd o ddefaid trwy'r prysur strydoedd.
En: Rhys, the young shepherd, was walking with his flock of sheep through the busy streets.

Cy: Yn anffodus, roedd Rhys wedi colli ei ffocws am eiliad wrth sôn â'i ffrind, Eleri, sy'n gweithio yn y siop leol.
En: Unfortunately, Rhys had lost his focus for a moment while talking to his friend, Eleri, who works in the local shop.

Cy: "Eleri!
En: "Eleri!"

Cy: " galwodd Rhys.
En: called Rhys.

Cy: "Pa ffordd wy ti heddiw?
En: "Which way are you going today?"

Cy: "Ond tra roedd Rhys yn siarad â hi, ni sylweddolodd fod y defaid wedi crwydro i mewn i siop groser Eleri.
En: But as Rhys spoke to her, he didn't notice that the sheep had wandered into Eleri's grocery shop.

En: The sheep squeezed through the open door and began to wander through the aisles, knocking over cans and bottles, while the shop customers shouted and jumped to the side in surprise.

Cy: "Rhys!
En: "Rhys!"

Cy: " gwaeddodd Eleri yn ofniog.
En: shouted Eleri in fear.

Cy: "Beth wyt ti wedi'i wneud?
En: "What have you done?"

Cy: "Rhys, a oedd yn rhewi o gywilydd, rhuthrodd i mewn i'r siop, ei galon yn curo fel drwm.
En: Rhys, feeling embarrassed, rushed into the shop, his heart pounding heavily.

Cy: Roedd yna afalau ar lawr, a bara wedi ei wasgaru ym mhobman, a'r defaid eisoes yn blasu ar gynnyrch ffres y ffrwythau.
En: There were apples on the floor, and bread scattered everywhere, and the sheep were already sampling the fresh produce of the fruits.

Cy: "Arna i'r bai," meddai Rhys wrth iddo geisio dal pob un o'r defaid yn dawel.
En: "It's my fault," said Rhys as he tried to calm each of the sheep.

Cy: Gwaith anodd oedd hyn, a'r defaid yn ddrwgdybus o'r silffoedd uchel a'r drysau'n closio.
En: This was a difficult task, with the sheep restlessly leaping over the high shelves and the doors closing.

Cy: Eleri a Rhys yn y pen draw llwyddodd i arwain y defaid yn ôl allan i'r stryd.
En: In the end, Eleri and Rhys managed to lead the sheep back out onto the street.

Cy: Rhys edrychodd ar Eleri, y ddagrau o ryddhad a phryder yn sgleinio yn ei llygaid glas.
En: Rhys looked at Eleri, relief and concern shimmering in her blue eyes.

Cy: "Sori Eleri, byddaf yn glanhau'r lle a thalu am y difrod," meddai mewn lleferydd cystuddiol.
En: "Sorry, Eleri, I'll clean up the place and pay for the damage," he said in a remorseful tone.

Cy: "Mae'n iawn, Rhys," meddai Eleri gan wenu’n garedig.
En: "It's alright, Rhys," said Eleri, smiling kindly.

Cy: "Gad i ni gofio hwn fel antur, nid fel trasiedi.
En: "Let's remember this as an adventure, not a tragedy."

Cy: "Daeth cymuned y pentref at ei gilydd i helpu adeiladu'r siop yn ôl i'w hen ogoniant.
En: The village community came together to help rebuild the shop to its former glory.

Cy: A chan fod y dydd wedi cael ei achub, roedd gan Rhys a Eleri stori y byddent yn ei hadrodd am flynyddoedd i ddod – sut y torrodd y defaid i mewn i siop groser y pentref hiraf yn y byd.
En: And as the day was saved, Rhys and Eleri had a story they would tell for years to come - about how the sheep broke into the grocery shop of the longest village in the world.
