Apocalipsis 9:13‭-‬21 RVA2015:
El sexto ángel tocó la trompeta. Y oí una voz que salía de los cuatro cuernos del altar de oro que estaba delante de Dios, diciendo al sexto ángel que tenía la trompeta: “Desata a los cuatro ángeles que han estado atados junto al gran río Éufrates”. Fueron desatados los cuatro ángeles que habían estado preparados para la hora y día y mes y año, para que matasen a la tercera parte de los hombres. El número de los soldados de a caballo era de dos miríadas de miríadas; yo escuché el número de ellos. Y de esta manera, vi en la visión los caballos y a los que cabalgaban en ellos, que tenían corazas color de fuego, de jacinto y de azufre. Las cabezas de los caballos eran como cabezas de leones; y de sus bocas salía fuego, humo y azufre. La tercera parte de los hombres fueron muertos por estas tres plagas: por el fuego, el humo y el azufre que salían de la boca de ellos. Pues el poder de los caballos está en sus bocas y en sus colas. Porque sus colas son semejantes a serpientes, y tienen cabezas con las cuales hieren. Los demás hombres que no fueron muertos con estas plagas ni aun así se arrepintieron de las obras de sus manos, para dejar de adorar a los demonios y a las imágenes de oro y de plata y de bronce y de piedra y de madera, las cuales no pueden ver ni oír ni caminar. Tampoco se arrepintieron de sus homicidios ni de sus hechicerías ni de su inmoralidad sexual ni de sus robos."


Quiero recordarles que el principal propósito de este devocional es encontrar los valores y principios bíblicos para poderlos aplicar a nuestras vidas espirituales y a la de nuestras familias. Ahora que estamos estudiando Apocalipsis, no es nuestro propósito explicar las interpretaciones, existen varias interpretaciones entre los teólogos acerca de los eventos que estamos leyendo. Nuestro enfoque no es saber cómo o cuándo o dónde se van a desarrollar estos sucesos. Si tu deseo es conocer sobre estos eventos y las interpretaciones de los símbolos y figuras, te aconsejo que le preguntes a tu pastor para que él te sugiera un libro de algún autor reconocido erudito en el tema.
También, no olvides leer todos los capítulos completos, pues no siempre se los leo completamente sino un extracto del verso de nuestro interés.

Los versos que me llamaron la atención y hablaron a mi corazón fueron los últimos. Después de leer las calamidades que vinieron cuando las trompetas comenzaron a sonar y al ver la mortandad de varias partes de la población mundial, incluyendo la destrucción de partes de la tierra y el mar, me impresiona ver el corazón de los que sobrevivieron de estas calamidades: corazones endurecidos, arrogantes y altivos que todavía no se humillaban ante el Creador.
Y no solamente tenían una actitud desafiante ante Dios, ellos no atribuían el poder y la gloria al Señor, seguían cometiendo los mismos pecados que hicieron que la ira de Dios viniera sobre la tierra.
Examinemos, pues, esta lista de maldades para que nosotros podamos examinarnos y evitar caer en estas prácticas:
↠ Asesinatos: Puede ser una muerte física con un arma o muerte espiritual con nuestras palabras o actitudes, enojarnos con ira y odio contra alguien. ¡No seamos parte de ningún plan para destruir a una persona!
↠ Inmoralidad sexual: Cualquier acto o hábito que rebaja o le quita el valor de la pureza de una persona, y que le impida vivir una sexualidad sana y bendecida por Dios que es el matrimonio. ¡Cuida tu cuerpo, pues le pertenece al Señor!
↠ Robos: Engañando a otros para arrebatarle sus cosas materiales o espirituales como la inocencia de un niño, la paz y la armonía de un hogar o dañar la confianza a una persona.
↠ Brujería: Acudir a las fuerzas de las tinieblas en vez de clamar al poder de Dios.
↠ Idolatría: Poner de prioridad en tu vida a otra persona, otro dios o cosa que no sea al Señor.

Aprendamos a entender las cosas que a Dios no le agradan, guardemos nuestros corazones de estas cosas, pues el Señor va a traer juicio al mundo entero en la gran tribulación, también dejará de enviar bendiciones a los que practican estas cosas.

September 3: They didn't even regret it!

Revelation 9:13-21:
Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind. Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm.
But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk. And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.


I want to remind you that the main purpose of this devotional is to find biblical values ​​and principles so that we can apply them to our spiritual lives and that of our families. Now that we are studying Revelation, it is not our purpose to explain the interpretations, there are several interpretations among theologians about the events we are reading. Our focus is not on how or when or where these events are going to unfold. If your desire is to know about these events and interpretations of symbols and figures, I advise you to ask your pastor so that he will suggest a book of a renowned author scholar on the subject.
Also, don't forget to read all the complete chapters, because I don't always read them completely but an extract of the verse of our interest.

The verses that caught my attention and spoke to my heart were the last. After reading the calamities that came when the trumpets began to sound and seeing the mortality of various parts of the world's population, including the destruction of parts of the land and the sea, I am impressed to see the hearts of those who survived these calamities: hardened, arrogant and haughty hearts that still did not humble themselves before the Creator.
And not only did they have a defiant attitude before God, they did not attribute the power and glory to the Lord, they continued committing the same sins that caused the wrath of God to come upon the earth.
Let's examine this list of evils so that we can examine ourselves and avoid fall into these practices:
↠ Murders: It can be a physical death with a weapon or spiritual death with our words or attitudes, getting angry with wrath and hatred against someone. Let's not be part of any plan to destroy a person!
↠ Sexual immorality: Any act or habit that lowers or takes away the value of the purity of a person, and that prevents from living a healthy sexuality blessed by God that is marriage. Take care of your body, it belongs to the Lord!
↠ Theft: Deceiving others to take away their material or spiritual things such as the innocence of a child, the peace and harmony of a home or damage the trust of a person.
↠ Witchcraft: Using to the forces of darkness instead of crying out to the power of God.
↠ Idolatry: Putting as a priority in your life someone else, another god or something other than the Lord.

Let's learn to understand the things that God does not like, let's keep our hearts from these things, because the Lord is going to bring judgment to the whole world in the great tribulation, also He will stop sending blessings to those who practice these things.
