➡️📖 Apocalipsis 8:1‭-‬5 RVA2015:
Cuando él abrió el séptimo sello, se hizo silencio en el cielo como por media hora. Y vi a los siete ángeles que estaban de pie delante de Dios, y les fueron dadas siete trompetas. Y otro ángel vino y se puso de pie delante del altar. Tenía un incensario de oro, y le fue dado mucho incienso para que lo añadiese a las oraciones de todos los santos sobre el altar de oro, que estaba delante del trono. Y el humo del incienso con las oraciones de los santos subió de la mano del ángel en presencia de Dios. Y el ángel tomó el incensario, lo llenó con fuego del altar y lo arrojó sobre la tierra. Y se produjeron truenos y estruendos y relámpagos y un terremoto.

➡️🎙️En este capítulo podemos notar cómo se abre el último y séptimo sello del libro que solamente el Cordero puede abrir. Cuando el sello fue abierto, hubo un lapso de tiempo de 30 minutos donde se hizo un gran silencio en el cielo. De la misma forma como en el teatro, hay una pausa para presentar el siguiente acto donde se cambia el escenario y el vestuario de los actores; este silencio nos indica que en el cielo se estaban preparando para realizar una acción nueva y drástica en los planes de Dios en el desarrollo de los eventos que están aconteciendo. Después de ese silencio, se le dieron siete trompetas a siete ángeles, las cuales representan tribulaciones más grandes que vendrán a la tierra.
La parte que me llama la atención es cuando a otro ángel se le da ese incensario para que ofreciera incienso mezclado con las oraciones de los santos, así como notamos en el capítulo 5. Este es el momento donde Dios va a escuchar ese clamor que notamos en el capítulo 6, donde ellos están esperando que se les haga justicia. Podemos deducir que en este capítulo 8 es el momento donde Dios escucha las oraciones y derrama su juicio contra el mundo entero.

Dios escucha nuestras oraciones siempre a su debido tiempo, conforme a su santa y divina voluntad. El Señor les había dicho a las almas que estaban esperando que Él les haga justicia que ellos tenían que esperar hasta que fueran añadidos los que habían de ser salvos. En el capítulo 7 notamos que ese grupo se multiplicó grandemente y juntos dieron una alabanza majestuosa al Dios Todopoderoso. Después de esto, se cumplió el tiempo para que se llevara a cabo el juicio del Señor, porque Dios es un Dios justo y Él castiga toda injusticia.
Por eso, debemos ser constantes, orando al Señor en todo tiempo; y ser pacientes, sabiendo que Dios recibe nuestras oraciones como incienso, o sea, perfume en su presencia, y Él tomará acción y responderá a nuestras oraciones. Solamente tenemos que caminar con rectitud y firmeza para que ninguna acción indebida de nuestra parte impida que esas oraciones sean contestadas. Si seguimos caminando en justicia, con obras de misericordia y de amor, sin venganzas ni disensiones, tendremos la confianza que estamos sirviendo un Dios justo y bueno, y que a su tiempo perfecto Él concederá las peticiones de nuestro corazón y nos hará justicia.
Únete seguido con tu familia en las noches y en las mañanas para enviar ese aroma agradable al Señor, orando continuamente, pues cuando dos o tres se reúnen en el nombre de Jesucristo y claman a Dios, Él escuchará ese clamor.
Recordemos la palabra del Señor Jesucristo que podemos leer en Lucas 18:7-8: ”¿Y Dios no hará justicia a sus escogidos que claman a él de día y de noche? ¿Les hará esperar? Les digo que los defenderá pronto. Sin embargo, cuando venga el Hijo del Hombre, ¿hallará fe en la tierra?”.

Espero que sigamos añadiendo incienso en esas copas de oro para que sea derramado en el altar de Dios que está en el cielo.

¿Soy perseverante en mis oraciones, continuamente de día y de noche?
¿Me desanimo fácilmente cuando mi oración no es contestada en el tiempo que yo quisiera?

September 2: Prayers poured out on the golden altar

Revelation 8:1-5:
When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets. Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake.


In this chapter we can notice how the last and seventh seal of the book is opened that only the Lamb can open. When the seal was opened, there was a 30 minute time lapse where there was a great silence in the sky. In the same way as in the theater, there is a pause to present the next act where the stage and the actors' costumes are changed; this silence indicates to us that in heaven they were preparing to carry out a new and drastic action in God's plans in the unfolding of the events that are taking place. After that silence, seven trumpets were given to seven angels, representing greater tribulations to come to earth.
The part that catches my attention is when another angel is given that censer to offer incense mixed with the prayers of the saints, as we noted in chapter 5. This is the moment where God will hear that cry that we noted in chapter 6, where they are waiting for justice to be served. We can deduce that at this chapter 8 is the moment where God hears the prayers and pours out His judgment on the whole world.

God hears our prayers always in due time, according to His holy and divine will. The Lord had told the souls that were waiting for Him to do them justice that they had to wait until those who were to be saved were added. In chapter 7 we noted that this group multiplied greatly and together they gave majestic praise to the Almighty God. After this, the time was fulfilled for the Lord's judgment to be carried out, because God is a just God and He punishes all injustice.
Therefore, we must be constant, praying to the Lord at all times; and being patient, knowing that God receives our prayers as incense, that is, perfume in His presence, and He will take action and answer our prayers. We just have to walk righteously and firmly so that no wrongdoing on our part prevents those prayers from being answered. If we continue to walk in justice, with works of mercy and love, without revenge or dissension, we will have the confidence that we are serving a just and good God, and that in His perfect time He will grant the requests of our hearts and do us justice.
Join often with your family at night and in the morning to send that pleasant aroma to the Lord, praying continuously because when two or three come together in the name of Jesus Christ and cry out to God, He will hear that cry.
Let us remember the word of the Lord Jesus Christ that we can read in Luke 18:7-8: “And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

I hope that we will continue to add incense to those golden cups to be poured out on the altar of God in heaven.

Consider this:
Am I persevering in my prayers, continually day and night?
Am I easily discouraged when my prayer is not answered in the time that I would like?
