Sarah Mandel is author of the debut memoir Little Earthquakes. Sarah Mandel is a licensed clinical psychologist based in New York City. She received her doctorate (Psy.D.) from Rutgers University and a B.A. in Studio Art from Bard College. When Mandel was pregnant with her second child she was diagnosed with stage IV cancer, forcing her to confront terminal illness as she brought a newborn into the world. However, Mandel’s illness took a highly improbable turn and after three grueling months Mandel’s cancer had diminished to undetectable levels. Her story is one of sickness, trauma, unpredictability, and pain; but, most of all, it is a story of healing. https://sarahmandelauthor.com/
