The Portsmouth Tall Ships Festival is underway Friday morning July 26th through Sunday.  A parade of sail up the Piscataqua River to the Memorial Bridge in Portsmouth and then to the docks kicks off the weekend starting at 10:30am. The Coast Guard Cutter Eagle is the star of this year’s Sail Portsmouth 2024 Festival. Robin Comstock, a member of the Sail Portsmouth Board of Directors, joined Mike Pomp on the Morning Information Center to talk about the annual Tall Ships festival. Tours of the U.S. Coast Guard Tall Ship Eagle will be available tomorrow through Sunday. Good places to watch the Parade of Sail on Friday morning are New Castle’s Great Island Common, Fort McClary State Park in Kittery, Prescott Park in Portsmouth, and along the shore of Badger’s Island in Kittery, Maine.
